Access to modules (ISPmanager)

From ISPWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The module can be used to manage the list of modules that are available for use in ISPmanager, and to allow or deny access to these modules for your users. You can view the list of the users and their access privileges to the system functions and change them, if necessary. For example, you can select modules that will be allowed for all users, or only for server's administrators.

If an ISPmanager user is not allowed to access a certain module, this module won't be available in the navigation bar of the user's control panel. When trying to access it via ISPmanager API, the access error will be displayed.

Access to the modules of the control panel affects not only the ISPmanager modules, but also any of the extensions that you may add.

We would not recommended that you restrict access to the user management module for the server administrator (root). Otherwise you will not be able to allow it again through the control panel.
