Add new server and edit an existing dedicated server

To create a new dedicated server, click the "New" icon and fill out the form. Please note, that the form for a dedicated server creation differs for DSmanager resellers and administrators. A dedicated server owner cannot create dedicated servers himself via his control panel.
A Dsmanager administrator should fill out the follwoing for, when adding a new dedicated server into the control panel:
- Server - provide server parameters, such as server unique identifier, type, MAC address, etc.
- System - provide parameters concerning the system installed on the server.
Server
- Id - enter a dedicated server unique identifier.
- MAC enter a network interface MAC-address.
- Owner - enter a name of the control panel user who owns the server.
- Type - choose a dedicated server type. More infromation about this parameter can be found in the Dedicated server types (DSmanager) module.
- Configuration - briefly describe a dedicated server.
- Number in the rack - enter a number or label that will allow to identify a dedicated server in the server rack.
System
- IP-address - enter an IP-address assigned to dedicated server network interface.
- Extra IP-addresses - enter the maximum number of alias IP-addresses that can be assigned to this dedicated server.
- Host name - enter the server domain name that is used by some programs.
- OS version - enter the operating system that is installed on this dedicated server.
- Notes - information about the dedicated server.
Edit dedicated server
To edit a dedicated server, locate the one you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change.
Reseller
If a reseller wants to add a new dedicated server, he will have to fill out the following form:
- Type - choose a dedicated server type. More infromation about this parameter can be found in the Dedicated server types (DSmanager) module.
- Server name - enter the name for the dedicated server.
- Owner - choose a dedicated server owner.
