Articles in the knowledge base

The knowledge base is divided into categories that include articles, answers to frequently asked questions, how-tos, etc.

This module allows add and edit articles, if necessary.

View a list of articles

  • ID - article unique identifier.
  • Article - article included into this category of the knowledge base.

Create article

To add an article, click the "New" icon and fill out the form:

  • Question - provide a part of the text that contains the question.
  • Answer - provide a part of the text that contains the answer.
  • Key words - provide key words (tags) of this article.
  • Position - provide a position of this article on the list. The articles on the user level will be listed according to its position.

Use the HTML tags when entering the texts of questions and answers. For example, for a link you should provide "<a href="http://...your URL" target="_blank">text of the link</a>".

Pay close attention to opening and closing tags.

Edit article

To edit an article of the knowledge base, locate one you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change.

Delete article

To delete an article of the knowledge base, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you wish to delete the category by clicking OK on the following form.

Set filter

You can use the list filter to search the information about article by specific parameters. To initiate searching, click the "Filter" icon and fill out the form. You do not need to fill out all the fields. The search can be carried out by question, answer and key words.

Once the filter is set, the list will be filtered by article. You can clear the filter that you have previously set by clicking "Remove filter" button.
