Dedicated server types (DSmanager)

Dedicated server type is a set of parameters that allow you to group your dedicated server according to certain parameters. For example, you can create a type according to the servers' hardware configuration, bandwidth, capacity,etc. Depending on your users' needs you can offer them the best solution for their business. This module can be used for managing the server types: you can add a new server type, edit and delete an existing one. When adding a new dedicated server in DSmanager, users will be prompted to choose a desired type, created in this module.

View servers types list

  • Name - server type name that allows to locate it in the control panel.

Add new server type

To add a new server type, click the "New" icon and fill out the form:

  • Name - enter the name for the new server type. For example, you can name it as DS A or DS B and describe its configuration somewhere else (on your official web-site) for your users to know what this name stands for.

Edit server type

To edit a server type, locate the one you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change.

Delete server type

To delete a server type, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected server type by clicking OK on the following form.
