Edit SSL certificate properties

To view and change information about the SSL properties, select the certificate, click the "Edit" icon and modify the information:

The form consists of five tabs:

The Basic tab

  • Package - name of the service package.
  • Order date - date when the certificate was ordered. The information is read-only.
  • Confirmation e-mail - email address for notifications.
  • Notes - provide any information related to the SSL certificate.
  • Forbid clients to change their current package - select the check box to prevent your customers from upgrading or downgrading their current packages themselves.
  • Block - select the check box to forbid your customers to activate the service that was suspended by administrator.

The Certificate Signing Request tab

Certificate Signing Request is an encrypted text that is generated on the server the certificate will be used on. It contains information that will be included in your certificate, such as your company name, domain name, country and city. It also contains the public key.

The Details tab

The information in this form is read only.

  • Common name - the fully qualified domain name of your server.
  • Organization - the legal name of your organization. It should include suffixes, such as Inc, Corp, or LLC.
  • Organization unit - the division of your organization handling the certificate.
  • Country code (2 letter)- the two-letter ISO code for the country where your organization is location.
  • State/province name - the state/region/province where your organization is located.
  • City - the city where your organization is located.
  • Email - an email address that can be used to contact your organization.

"Administrative contact"

  • First name - the name of the administrative contact.
  • Last name - the last name of the administrative contact.
  • Job title - the job title of the administrative contact.
  • Email - an email address used to reach the administrative contact.
  • Phone number - a telephone number used to reach the administrative contact.

"Technical support"

  • First name - the name of the technical contact.
  • Last name - the last name of the technical contact.
  • Job title - the job title of the technical contact.
  • Email - an email address used to reach the technical contact.
  • Phone number - a telephone number used to reach the technical contact.

The Organization tab

  • Name - the legal name of your organization.
  • Country - the country where your organization is registered.
  • State/province - the state/region/province where your organization is registered.
  • City - the city where your organization is registered.
  • ZIP code - the ZIP code of the city.
  • Address - the full address of your organization (including the street, office, etc).
  • Phone number - the phone number used to contact your organization.(the "+" sign is not obligatory).
