Equipment management
From ISPWiki
This module can be used to manage data center equipment that can be connected to the dedicated servers. The following devices are available:
- Network switch is a small hardware device that joins multiple computers together within one local area network, in our case it connects a dedicated server to the network. There are several types of network switches available in DSmanager. They allow you to connect or disconnect your dedicated servers to the network directly from the control panel.
- Power switch is a control device that allows you to remotely manage power supply to your dedicated servers, so that you can energize, deenergize and reboot them from the control panel.
- KVM switch (KVM stands for keyboard video mouse) is a hardware device that allows an administrator to completely control another computer that is located thousands of miles away using a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. KVM technology provides complete BIOS-level control and management of your servers from a single interface.
In this module you can add a new device, edit an existing one and delete devices that you do not need anymore. You can also view and manage the devices' ports.
