Error log (for reseller)

The Error Log is a log of errors encountered by the system. This can be an extremely useful tool for administrators who need to diagnose and manage systems. Some error logs list every single error which occurs. Others may be set to save information about only certain errors.

In this module can can view detailed information about an error, such as the time when it occurred, a name of the use who caused the error and so forth, and report an error to software developers, if necessary.

View a list of errors

  • Date - date and time when the error occurred (the last figure is the number of the request).
  • Function - name of the function where the error occurred.
  • Access level - access level:
Image:p-root.png - administrators.
Image:p-reseller.png - resellers.
Image:p-user.png - users.
Image:p-shell.png - shell users.
Image:p-ftp.png - FTP users.
Image:p-email.png - e-mail users.
  • User - name of the user whose actions caused the error.
  • Status - current error status:
    • new report - new error report.
    • report reviewed - the administrator view the information about the error.
    • sent to developers - the error report was sent to the software developers.

Detailed description

Full details about a particular error can be viewed by selecting it fro the list and clicking the "Send" icon.

The Information tab

  • Date - date and time when the error occurred (the last figure is the number of the request).
  • Status - error report current status
  • Function - name of the function where the error occurred.
  • Login level - user access level.
  • Username - name of the user whose actions caused the error.
  • Email - provide your contact email address in case additional information is required.
  • Delete the report once it is sent - select the check box to delete the error report once it is sent to the software developers.

In this form you can view full details about the error.

If you want to send this error report to the software developers, click the "Send the report" button. Once you are done, the error report current status will change to "Sent to developers".

Delete report

To delete an error report, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected error rport by clicking OK in the following form.
