Applications (ISPmanager)

In this module you can manage a wide range of server applications available to you and your users in the control panel.
For example, you can install and enable Greylisting that can be used to filter spam messages, or webmail, a web-interface for managing e-mail, or a set of PhP scripts for managing phpMyAdmin, and so on.
Note This module is only available for administrators with superuser privileges.

View a list of applications
- Application name - the name of the system application.
- Installed version - software version that implements the application (already installed on the server).
- Status - application status:
- Type - application type, such as "required", "regular", "recommended", etc.
Install application
Before you start using the application, it should be installed on the server. Select the required line from the list and click the "Install" icon. Confirm that you want to install the selected application by clicking OK in the following form.
Delete application
To delete an application from the server, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected application by clicking OK in the following form.
Please note, that deleting an application may delete the associated data, such as databases, mailboxes, etc.
Update installed applications
This function is used to update the list of installed applications. It refreshes the control panel cache for ISPmanager to learn the applications that were manually installed or refreshed. To do that, click the "Update installed applications" icon and confirm that you wish to refresh the current list.
Enable the selected application
If the application you wish to use has the "Installed" status it means that the software required for its operation is already installed on your server. Select the desired application and click the "Enable" icon. Confirm that you want to enable the selected application by clicking OK in the following form.
Disable the selected application
You may use this application to disable any of the functions that you do not need. To do that, select it from the list and click the "Disable" icon. Confirm that you want to disable the selected application by clicking OK in the following form.
Please note, that disabling the application may delete associated data, such as databases, mailboxes, etc. If you wish to disable any of the applications, please go to the Services (ISPmanager) module.
