IP-addresses management (VDSmanager)

In this module you can manage IP-addresses that will be later assigned to one of the virtual private servers. You can also use the VDS management module where you can configure IP-addresses for a certain virtual private server. More information on how change an IP-address can be found here.
Note This modules is not available, if you use the IPmanager control panel.
View the IP-addresses list
- IP-address - IP-address allocated by the VDSmanager administrator.
- In use - IP-address is assigned to the specified virtual private server (its domain name is shown in the table).
- Access level - access privileges granted to the control panel users.
- Allow all - access to IP-addresses pool is allowed for all resellers.
- Deny all - access to IP-addresses pool is denied for all resellers.
- Allow... - "allow" followed by a reseller name means that access to the IP-address is allowed only for this specified reseller.
- Deny... - "deny" followed by a reseller name means that access to the IP-address is denied only for this specified reseller
Allocate new IP-address
To allocate new IP-address, click the "New" icon and fill out the form:
- IP-addresses - enter the IP-address that will be used to work with a VPS. You can enter a single address (12.34.56.78), a range of addresses (12.34.56.78-12.34.56.89) or a mask (12.34.56.0/26).
- Access level - provide a level of access that you want to grant to VDSmanager users. Please note! You cannot restrict access for the server administrators.
- Allowed for all - access to the pool of IP-addresses is allowed for all the resellers.
- Denied for all - access to the pool of IP-addresses is denied for all the resellers.
- Allowed for - access is allowed only for the reseller specified below.
- Denied for - access is denied only for the reseller specified below.
- Reseller - enter the name of the reseller who will be allowed or denied to access this IP-address.
Please note! The VDSmanager control panel will add this IP address to the network interface when starting a virtual private server.
You do not need to add the IP-address to the network interface yourself!
Edit IP-address parameters
To edit the existing IP-address's parameters, select it from the list, click the "Edit" icon and enter the information:
- Access level - provide a level of access that you want to grant to VDSmanager users. Please note! You cannot restrict access for the server administrators.
- Allowed for all - access to the pool of IP-addresses is allowed for all the resellers.
- Denied for all - access to the pool of IP-addresses is denied for all the resellers.
- Allowed for - access is allowed only for the reseller specified below.
- Denied for - access is denied only for the reseller specified below.
- Resellers - enter the name of the reseller who will be allowed or denied to access this IP-address.
Delete IP-address
To delete an IP-address, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the IP-address by clicking OK in the following window.
