Recovery templates (DSmanager)

Recovery templates can be used for booting your operating system remotely without the [[Server management (DSmanager)|dedicated server] reinstallation. In this module you can manage such templates: you can add a new recovery template, update an existing one and delete the templates you do not need anymore.

View the recovery templates' list

  • Name - unique name that allows to identify the template in the control panel.
  • Status- current status of the template:
    • Installation in progress - the operating system is currently being installed.
    • Installation error - one or more errors occurred while installing the operating system.
    • Update in progress - the operating system is currently being updated to the latest version.
    • Update in progress - one or more errors occurred while updating the operating system.
    • Ok - the operating system is successfully installed.
  • Version - operating system version.

Install new template

To install a new template, click the "Install" icon and fill out the following form:

  • Name - from the drop-down menu select a template for the operating system recovery.

Update template

This function is used to update the operating system recovery template. Locate the required template on the list and click the "Update" icon. Confirm that you want to update the selected template by clicking "OK" on the following form.


Delete template

To delete a template, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected template by clicking OK on the following form.

Please note, all the operating system templates associated with these templates will be removed as well.
