DNSmanager is a software product that is installed on a slave name server and automates creation of domain names. It is specially designed to integrate with ISPmanager and VDSmanager, and can be used as an independent web control panel.

Name server is a fundamental part of the Domain Name System (DNS). Name server allow websites to use domain names instead of IP-addresses. Each domain name must have at least two name servers listed when the domain is registered. So, if one of them is not available, the other can be used. These name servers are specified when registering a domain name. They are commonly named ns1.servername.com and ns2.servername.com, where "servername" is the name of the server.

The "Remote DNS" module can be used to manage a list of DNSs where DNSmanager is installed. You may perform various operations on these servers, for example add new servers, edit and view their properties, delete, or provide flexible settings in other to differentiate private and provider's name servers.
