Roles

Each role defines services that should be started on cluster nodes when starting the server.

This module can be used to assign a new role, edit existing ones and delete them if needed. You can also manage the scripts that will be used to start or stop the nodes' roles.

View a list of roles

  • Name - name of the node's role.
  • Description - brief description of the role.

Add role

To add a role, click the "Add" icon and fill out the form:

  • Name - provide a name for the role. It may start with A-Z, consist of A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and the "_" symbol.
  • Description - optional field. Briefly describe the role you want to create.

Edit role

To edit a role, locate the role you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change.

Delete role

To delete a role, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the role by clicking "OK" in the following window.
