Software licenses

This module can be used to manage software licenses. You can register a new license, edit its parameters and configuration, import from another partner and so on.

View list of licenses

  • ID - license unique identifier.
  • License name - name of your license.
  • License IP - license IP-address.
  • Software - software product the license is issued for.
  • Order period - license order period.
  • Expiry date - license will be valid until this date.
  • Status - license current status:
    • Ordered - license has been ordered, but not activated yet (e.g. the payment has not been made out).
    • Active - license is active.
    • Suspended - license has been suspended for any reason.
    • In-progress - license is being processed, e.g. is being activated, modifying or running. Refresh the page to see a new status of your license.

Edit license

To edit the selected license parameters, select it from the list, click the "Edit" icon and modify the information:

  • Software - choose software product the license is issued for.
  • License name - provide the name for your license.
  • License IP-address - provide a license IP-address.
  • Administrator password - provide a administrator password to gain access to the server.
  • Registration key - enter a registration code that will allow your customers to activate their software licenses and get technical support. This is an arbitrary value that a partner generates for his customers.
  • Delete all existing registrations - select the check box to delete all existing registration, if you ant to change the registration key and give it to another customer.
  • Auto-renewal - select a period to renew the license automatically.
  • Valid until - license expiration date.

Renew license

This function can be used to renew your software license when it expires. To do that, click the :Renew: icon and fill out the form:

  • Software - software product the license is issued for. The information is read-only.
  • License name - name for your license. The information is read-only.
  • License IP - license IP-address. The information is read-only.
  • Valid until - license expiration date. The information is read-only.
  • Period - select a period to renew your license.
  • Cost - renewal cost. This value will vary depending on the order period selected.
  • Pay by - select the payment method:
    • Current account - this function is available if You have already made payments, and there is enough money on your personal account.
    • Add to... - if you have an order (if You order several services and want to pay them all in one), you can add payment to the said order.
    • Generate a new order - create new account, which can be viewed and paid in the Orders module.

Select the "Pay for the service after placing the order " box to proceed with the payment.

Delete license

To delete a license, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you wish to delete the selected license by clicking OK on the following form.

Filter the list

You can use the list filter to search the information about license by specific parameters. To initiate searching, click the "Filter" icon and fill out the form. You do not need to fill out all the fields. This search can be carried out by the license ID, name, IP-address, software, order period, validity period and status.

Once the filter is set, the list will be filtered by VPS. You can clear the filter that you have previously set by clicking the "Remove filter" button.

Submit trouble ticket

To submit a trouble ticket concerning a software product, select it from the list and click the "Send" icon.

  • Category - select a category for your ticket, such as Finance or Marketing. The category defines a support member who will be in charge for your issue.
  • Services - the ID of the product or service associated with your question.
  • Importance - select your ticket urgency (Low, Medium, High). Do not select High, until some of your crucial processes are not running.
  • Subject - describe your problem in a few words.
  • New message/Quote - explain your problem in full detail. Clicking "Quote" will quote the phrase within the message body.
  • Attach file - select a file you want to attach. Its maximum size is 10 MB. To locate a file you need, click the "Choose" button.
