An e-mail redirect is an e-mail address that automatically redirects all the received messages to another e-mail address on the same or another server. Mail aliases in the mailbox parameters are also e-mail redirects. For example, you have a mailbox test@example.com and you would like to create one more address example@example.com so that all the email coming to that address will be redirected to test@example.com. A message will be delivered to the necessary recipient in its original, unchanged form.

To do that, you need to add an e-mail redirect. With this module you may customize redirects from the e-mail domain to several e-mail addresses.

If you want to redirect your messages to several e-mail addresses, use the Mail groups module.

View a list of redirects

  • E-mail address - source address. All the messages sent to this address will be automatically redirected.
  • Forward to - all the messages are redirected to this address.

Add new redirect

To add new mail redirect, click the "Create" icon and fill out the form:

  • Name - enter the name of an e-mail redirect that you want to add. This is the part of the e-mail address that stands before the @ sign. You can use letters, digits and the - and . signs. Please note: if you want to add a redirect for an existing mailbox, please go to Mailboxes and change the redirect settings of the mailbox. Here you can only set a redirect for for an e-mail addresses that is not allocated to a mailbox.
  • E-mail domain - select the e-mail domain for this redirect. If the domain you need is missing, you can add it in the Mail domains module.
  • Forward to - enter an e-mail address where all incoming e-mail will be forwarded to. You can add an unlimited number of unlimited e-mail addresses, space separated.
  • Enable Greylisting - use Greylisting filter to check incoming messages. Go to the Applications module to enable this option.

Edit redirect parameters

To edit a redirect, locate the redirect you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change.

Delete redirect

To delete an e-mail redirect, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected redirect by clicking "OK" in the following window.
