Order periods

In BILLmanager you can use a flexible system for setting order periods. In this module you can set periods that will be used when rendering products and services to your customers.

You can provide order periods when creating a new package as well.

View a list of periods

  • ID - period unique identifier.
  • Name - period name.
  • Period price - service's price according to the specify period.
  • Status - current status of the order period:
Image:p-on.png - the selected period can be used for ordering.
Image:p-off.png - the selected period cannot be used for ordering.


Add new period

To add a new period, click the "New" icon and fill out the following form:

  • Period name - enter the name for a new period.
  • Unit of measure - select a unit of measure, such as year, month, day or unlimited.
  • Period length - provide the length of the period. For example, you can enter 365 if you selected "Year" in the previous field.
  • Period price - provide a service price according to the selected the period.
  • Renewal cost - provide a service renewal cost if it differs from the service price entered in the previous field. If you wish to set this parameter, go to the Item types module to select a "Renew at special price" check box in the item edit form.
  • Priority - provide the priority for sorting out the order periods.
  • Available for order - select the check he box to allow your customers to choose the newly created period when ordering a service.

Edit period

To edit a period, locate the period you wish to edit, click the "Edit" icon and modify the settings you want to change. The edit form is similar to the new order period form, except for one field:

  • Order link - you could point your web-site to the order area. Provided the link that will take the customer directly to the page where can can make an order.

Delete period

To delete a period, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected period by clicking OK in the following form.

Import period

This function is used to transfer a package from another location. To do so, click the "Import" icon and fill out the following form:

  • Copy from - select a package from which you want to import an order period.
  • Replace existing values - select the check box to replace all the existing values with new ones.
