Web-scripts (APS)

The "Web-scripts" module enables to manage the contents of the local web-script repository. All the information about web-scripts and their source codes is taken from http://www.apsstandard.org/app/.

In this module you can see the list of the web-scripts that a user can install on his server. You can view a web-script information, such as its author, description and other data, delete unnecessary scripts from the repository, update the current list and change access privileges to web-scripts for your users.

View a list of web-scripts

  • Name - name of the web-script.
  • Version - current version of the web-script.
  • Description - brief description of the web-script.
  • Status - access privileges to this web-script:
    • Allowed for all - all the control panel users can access this web-script.
    • Denied for all - none users can use this web-script.
    • Allowed for - only specified users can access this web-script.
    • Denied for - specified users cannot access this web-script.
  • Uploaded - whether this web-script is uploaded or not:
Image:p-on.png - the web-script is uploaded into the local repository.
Image:p-off.png - the web-script is not uploaded into the local repository.

Add web-script

Using this form you can add a script to the local repository for further use. Read the Documentation at http://www.apsstandard.org to learn more. Pack the script using APS 1.0. To add a new web-script, click the "New" icon and fill out the form:

  • Path to the archive - provide the path to the zip-archive that has the .app.zip extension.

Web-script information

This function allows you to view information about a web-script that can be installed on the user's web-domain. To do that, select a web-script and click the "Edit" icon:

  • Name - name of the web-script.
  • Version - current version of the web-script.
  • Author - web-site where you can fine infromation about this web-script.
  • Packager - company that developed this web-script.
  • Home page - home page of the web-site of the company that developed this web-script.
  • Description - detailed description of the web-script functionality.

Delete web-script

To delete your web-script, select one from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to delete the selected web-script by clicking OK on the following form.

However, a user will be able to download and install the script on his WWW domain.

Access privileges

This function allows you to set web-script access privileges for your control panel users. Select a web-script, click the "Access" icon and fill out the form:

  • Access type - select a desired type access to the web-scripts:
    • Allowed for all - all users can use this web-script.
    • Denied for all - none users can use this web-script.
    • Allowed for - web-script is allowed for specified users. List these users in the field below.
    • Denied for - web-script is denied for all the users listed below.
  • User list - provide user names to whom you want to allow or forbid access to the selected web-script.

Update list

You can use this function to update the list of web-scripts. Select a web-script and click the "Update" icon. Confirm that you want to update the web-scripts by clicking OK on the following form.
